motorhome... the new toy!

well!! we DID it!! October 16th, 2005. we drove to meet with a nice couple in Glendale to look at and eventually purchase their 1988 24' Mallard motorhome. WOW. the outside is a bit rough... but the inside was in great shape considering it's age!!

it has only 43,000 miles on it!!

i can't wait to hit the open road!!

our first look... at our new "home" away from home. :)	towards the rear. there is a twin bed there in the back left. to the right is the bathroom.	tommy loves crawling into the new over-cab-bunk. :) (it's larger than a full-sized bed and very comfy)	tommy playing peek-a-boo.
he got very quick up the ladder. :)	katie was very interested in following. :)	eating area turns into bed. the upholstery is in pretty nice shape.	tommy is inspecting the kitchen area
microwave over stove.	the bathroom. we're happy to see there isn't a toilet IN the shower!	sink in bathroom	larger tub than i hoped for. :)

Arthur on our little trip around the block. he seems to like it!	first group voyage. (around the block)	from the very back...	from the very front.
our first camping trip! we went to Tortilla Flats by Canyon Lake. 26 miles from home. :)	riding in style.	the trip up lulled them to sleep.	breakfast out.
quite the set-up... huh?
