Bob's birthday Party

Today we celebrated Bob Nixon's 60th Birthday Party. about 30 people showed up to celebtate... including 2 folks from oklahoma. Larry and Bruce left Saturday morning at 4 AM from OKC and arrived at our humble casa at 7:30pm. They earned their Iron Butt honor... doing 1056 miles in one day. They made arrangements for the trip the day I invited everyone. talk about flying by the seat of one's pants!!

We had a cake made to look like Arizona roads. we looked everywhere for a Triumph Sprint replica to put on the cake. Steve called his Dad (he has a sprint ST)... who called a buddy (Al Gentry) who mailed the Replica here with NO charge.. many thanks to Al Gentry!

after many printings... i got a picture of Bob to scale and we put it on the cake.

it was great to see everyone!! the best part of the whole thing? Bob had NO clue!! it was AWESOME!!

We all are so happy that Bob is around to celebrate with... this time, last year... it was so very hard to see an end to that dark-ass tunnel.
